October 22, 2007 - The Sammamish Plateau elementary school boundary change committee has developed six draft criteria to use in judging different sets of potential boundaries for the area’s elementary schools. The committee is seeking public comment on these criteria, especially from parents of elementary school children, current and future, who live on the Sammamish Plateau.
October 2, 2007 – The district committee that will develop the new elementary school boundaries for the Sammamish plateau area of the Lake Washington School district met for the first time on Thursday, September 27. The committee is led by Dr. Cindy Lundvall, director of student services.
August 9, 2007 - In the fall of 2008, Lake Washington School District will open a new elementary school on the Sammamish Plateau, adjacent to Inglewood Junior High. Before the new school opens, the district will need to determine which students will attend the new elementary school and how other school boundaries will be affected.
