The committee charged with setting new elementary school boundaries on the Sammamish Plateau is continuing to work on its final recommendation. It will make that announcement on February 8.

“We are still making adjustments to the recommendation to try to meet the concerns of neighborhoods that were not satisfied with the three proposed scenarios,” noted committee chair Dr. Cindy Lundvall. “We are researching those adjustments to ensure they don’t negatively impact other neighborhoods and do meet the criteria established by the committee.”

Committee members are also analyzing impacts, including transportation costs and facilities requirements.
