This mailer, sent to district residents in January 2011, answers questions about the 2011 Capital Projects Levy.
Parents and community members asked a lot of good questions at the public input sessions around overcrowding in Lake Washington School District. Here is a compilation of the most frequently asked questions and their answers.

If passed, permanent classrooms added to high schools, new science school added.
Between the three public input sessions and the online survey on the district website, over 1000 people weighed in with their opinions on possible solutions to the district’s overcrowding problems and possible levy measures. In addition to that survey, the district commissioned a random sample survey of community members to learn more about the opinions of all community members. These graphs show the results of both surveys, which helped inform the Board of Directors’ decision on the proposed ballot measure.
