Jackie Pendergrass has been a Lake Washington School Board Director since 1995. She has served as Legislative Chair and as Board President in the past and is currently serving as President. For over 30 years, she has been an advocate for children and children's issues both locally and statewide. During this time, she has been involved with a variety of child-focused organizations. Currently she is Program Director for the Juanita Schools Foundation. In addition, she is involved with ASSISTANCE LEAGUE© of the Eastside, the Lake Washington Schools Foundation and PTSA. She also volunteers in her neighborhood schools.Pendergrass has worked as a Registered Nurse in Pediatrics, Prepared Childbirth Education, and Health Screening. Her husband, Tom, and she have lived in the Juanita area since 1976. They have two sons who both graduated from Juanita High School and the University of Washington.
