District and School Publications: Notices to Parents
Official notices to parents may be prepared by members of the administrative staff with a copy placed on file in the office of the superintendent. Such notices shall be limited to school business and to parent-faculty group announcements. No organization shall be permitted to use the children for the distribution of materials or notices without approval of the superintendent. The superintendent may distribute notices on school programs, rules, and
annual meetings to the student body. Copies of teachers' letters to parents shall be kept on file by the teacher.
Assigned Public Relations Work by Students
Under the appropriate supervision of school district personnel, students, with the permission of their parents, may be involved in public relations activities such as public performances, participation in panel discussions,
