The Board of Directors of the Lake Washington School District may take a position on any ballot measure or ballot proposition which directly affects the operation of the schools, but shall not endorse any candidate for public office.

School facilities should not be used for posting political campaign material or propaganda. Any distribution of such material shall occur at a place, at a time, and in a manner that shall not substantially disrupt students or school activities. This policy may be waived in the case of authorized school elections that are deemed part of the educational process.
