Soliciting Funds From Students

The following charitable drives involving students have been approved.

  • Jump Rope for Heart
  • March of Dimes
  • Red Cross
  • Multiple Sclerosis Read-A-Thon
  • American Diabetes Association Bike-A-Thon
  • UNICEF
  • Cystic Fibrosis Spell-A-Thon
  • Arthritis Math Olympics

Solicitation of funds by these organizations shall be subject to the following regulations:

  1. Collections shall be conducted in a manner which minimizes the amount of school time required.
  2. Contributions shall be made on a voluntary basis only.
  3. Containers should be provided and collections conducted so that the amount of the individual contributions or lack of contributions shall not be known to others.
  4. All approved drives shall be reviewed by the superintendent or designee and be recommended for continuance on the basis of their effectiveness.
