The Board of Directors authorizes pupils, with the consent of their parents/guardians, to be excused from school for medical and dental appointments and to accompany their parents/guardians on out-of-town trips.

All students are expected to remain on campus for the entire school day, with the exception of high school students whose parents request that they be excused during lunch and students whose parents request attendance at another school or school-related activity during the school day.

The superintendent shall establish regulations governing the release of pupils for such purposes and the reporting thereof.
