The board believes that school district membership in approved educational and professional organizations is of value to staff members. The board authorizes the superintendent to approve such membership as deemed necessary to keep staff abreast of trends and developments in education and to utilize the publications of these organizations as a means of disseminating ideas and exchanging information concerning educational practice, innovations, and experimental programs.
